How the hell does McCain take a stance on Iraq that’s even more hawkish than Bush? It’s an issue that’s killing the GOP and certainly won’t win him the presidency in 2008. He’s either principled to the point of sacrificing his last chance at the presidency or he knows something that we don’t, because I refuse to believe that his political strategists could be that dumb… again.
I can´t believe they suggest that McCain should copy Lieberman – nobody should copy him – Lieberman hasn’t shown any independence from Bush on Iraq and his career is on its way downhill – he will lose his senate seat to the first strong cantidate from either the democrats or republicans in Ct.
